Information the app processes

Magic FX Studio may process limited technical and usage information, such as app launches, features or effects used, ad interactions, app version, device and operating-system type, performance diagnostics, and crash information. This information is used to understand how the app is used, keep it working, prevent fraud, and improve its features.

The app may use anonymous or resettable identifiers to distinguish one installation from another. Network requests also necessarily expose an IP address to the service receiving the request; this may be used to infer a general area, but Magic FX Studio does not collect precise location data.

Camera, microphone, and media

With your permission, the app can access your camera and microphone to record photos and videos, and your photo library so that you can choose or save media. Your camera feed, recordings, photos, videos, and audio are processed on your device for the app’s creative features. Magic FX Studio does not upload or collect this content.

Ads and purchases

The app may display ads using Google Mobile Ads. Google may process an IP address, ad and app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers to provide ads, measure performance, and prevent fraud. Depending on your settings and applicable law, ads may be personalised or non-personalised.

If you make or restore an in-app purchase, the relevant app store and RevenueCat process the transaction. Magic FX Studio may receive an anonymous app-user identifier and purchase status or history so that it can unlock and restore paid features. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. Limited information is processed only by service providers needed to run the app, including Google for ads and Google Play services, Apple for App Store services, and RevenueCat for purchase management. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy terms:

Retention and deletion

We keep anonymous or pseudonymous usage information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. Because this information is not connected to an account or information that directly identifies you, we may not be able to locate an individual record. Purchase records and information processed by service providers are retained under their applicable legal obligations and retention policies.

You can delete photos, videos, and other creations from your device at any time. You can also remove the app and its locally stored data through your device settings.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards for the limited information handled by the app. Information sent to our service providers is encrypted in transit where supported. No security method is completely risk-free.

Children’s privacy

Magic FX Studio is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The current version will always be published on this page with its effective date.
